     Isabel (?) was described in the king's writ directing an inquisition to be taken after her decease as Elizabeth Audley, of the Audley family, giving the Touchets the place and precedence of the original Lords Audley.1 She was born in 1375 at Haleigh, Staffordshire, England.2 She married John Touchet, 4th Lord Audley, son of John Touchet and Margaret de Mortimer, before 1398. Isabel (?) died in 1445/46 at age 71 years. She died 24th Henry VI.1

     Walter, 1st Baron Hungerford of Farleigh, Lord Treasurer of England was of Farleigh at Somerset, England.1 He was born circa 22 June 1378 at Farleigh-Hungerford, Somersetshire, England.1,2 He was the son of Sir Thomas Hungerford of Farleigh and Wellow and Joan Hussey.3,4 Walter, 1st Baron Hungerford of Farleigh, Lord Treasurer of England was strongly attached to the Lancastrian cause at the close of Richard II's reign.2 He was granted an annuity of 40 pounds out of the lands of Margaret, Duchess of Norfolk, and was knighted circa 1401.2 He was with the English army in France, and is said to have worsted the French King in a duel outside Calais in 1401 at Normandy.2 He married Katherine Peverell, daughter of Thomas Peverell Esq., of Hamatethy and Margaret de Courtenay of Devonshire and Somerset, before September 1402; His 1st.4 Walter, 1st Baron Hungerford of Farleigh, Lord Treasurer of England fought bravely at the battle of Agincourt, but the assertion that he made the Duke of Orleans prisoner is not substantiated in 1415.2 He was made Admiral of the fleet under John, Duke of Bedford in 1417.2 He was installed Knight of the Garter on 3 May 1421.2 He was summoned to the House of Lords as Baron Hungerford on 7 January 1425/26.2 He married Alianore Berkeley, Countess of Arundel, daughter of Sir John de Berkeley of Beverstone and Elizabeth Betteshorne, before 8 May 1439 at Beverston, Gloucestershire, England; His 2nd. Her 3rd.2 Walter, 1st Baron Hungerford of Farleigh, Lord Treasurer of England died on 9 August 1449.4 . He was buried beside his first wife in Salisbury Cathedral, within the iron chapel erected by himself, which is still extant, although removed from its original position.2

     William de la Pole, 4th Earl, 1st Duke of Suffolk was born on 16 October 1396 at Cotton, Suffolk, England.3 He was the son of Michael de la Pole, 2nd Earl of Suffolk and Lady Catherine de Stafford.2,3 William de la Pole, 4th Earl, 1st Duke of Suffolk assumed command of the Siege of Orleans on 3 November 1428. He was defeated and taken prisoner by Joan of Arc at Jargeau on 12 June 1429.3 He was ransomed and then held his former command until recalled to England in 1431.3 He succeeded to the earldom of Pembroke in 1446.2 He was created Duke of Suffolk on 2 June 1448. He died on 2 May 1450 at near Dover, Kent, England, at age 53 years, 6 months and 16 days. Suffolk left England on May 1, 1450, but he was intercepted in the English Channel by some of his enemies and beheaded. He died without surviving issue, and his titles became extinct.3

He married Margaret Beauchamp, daughter of Richard (de Beauchamp), Earl of Warwick and Elizabeth, Baroness Berkeley; His 2nd.5 John, 7th Lord Talbot, 1st Earl of Shewsbury was referred to by Shakespeare as "the great Alcides of the field," one of the most renowned captains of the warlike age he lived in.6 He was a witness where Henry VI "of Windsor", King of England celebrated his coming-of-age by creating some new peers, including Richard Neville, Earl of Salisbury and John Talbot, Earl of Shrewsbury, (Talbot's second son became Lord Lisle), in 1442. 1st Earl of Shrewsbury at England between 1442 and 20 July 1453. John, 7th Lord Talbot, 1st Earl of Shewsbury was created Earl of the County of Salop, or as usually styled, Earl of Shrewsbury, on 20 May 1442.6 He was created Earl of Waterford on 17 July 1446 at Ireland.6 He died on 20 July 1453 at France. He was killed in battle with the Bastard of Orleans near Chastillon. In the battle he received a wound in the thigh, which proved immediately fatal. He had been victorious in forty different battles and dangerous skirmishes; his death proved fatal to the English dominion in France, which never flourished afterwards.1,3

He was killed in battle.2,3 Edmund (Beaufort), Duke of Somerset was buried in St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, England. He has no Stall Plate.3

His 2nd.2,8,9 James, 5th Lord Audley was granted an exemption from Parliament in 1447.2 Chief Justice at South Wales before 1459.2 He took up arms on behalf of the Lancastrians and the ill-fated Henry VI.2 Chamberlain at South Wales before 1459.2 War of Roses - York defeats Lancaster. Lancastrians attack Yorkists and are defeated. Lord Audley killed, Lord Dudley captured and brought over to Yorkist side. On 23 September 1459 at Blore Heath, Shropshire, England. He died on 23 September 1459 at the Battle of Blomere Heath, Shropshire, England, at age 61 years. He was killed in battle against the Yorkists as commander for the Lancaster Royal Army.4,10
