He was the son of Richard, 4th Baron Poynings and Isabel FitzPayne.¹ Robert, 5th Baron Poynings married Elizabeth (or Eleanor) de Grey of Ruthyn, daughter of Reginald, 2nd Baron Grey of Ruthin and Alianor le Strange.¹ Robert was summoned to parliament between 25 August 1404 and 12 January 1445 as.¹ He was in the French Wars of Henry IV, Henry V, and Henry VI.¹ He died in 1446 at the Siege of Orleans, France.¹

     Isabel (?) was described in the king's writ directing an inquisition to be taken after her decease as Elizabeth Audley, of the Audley family, giving the Touchets the place and precedence of the original Lords Audley.¹ She was born in 1375 at Haleigh, Staffordshire, England.² She married John Touchet, 4th Lord Audley, son of John Touchet and Margaret de Mortimer, before 1398. Isabel (?) died in 1445/46 at age 71 years. She died 24th Henry VI.¹

     Henry (de Beauchamp), 1st Duke of Warwick was born on 22 March 1424/25 at Hanley Castle, England.² He was the son of Richard (de Beauchamp), Earl of Warwick and Lady Isabel le Despencer.¹ Henry (de Beauchamp), 1st Duke of Warwick married Cecily Neville, daughter of Richard "Prudence", Earl of Salisbury and Alice, Countess of Salisbury, in 1434.³ Henry (de Beauchamp), 1st Duke of Warwick died on 11 June 1446 at Hanley Castle, England, at age 21 years, 2 months and 20 days.      Humphrey, Duke of Gloucester was born in 1391.¹ He was the son of Henry IV, "of Bolingbroke," King of England and Mary de Bohun. Duke of Gloucester at England between 1414 and 1447.¹ Humphrey, Duke of Gloucester served in a series of campaigns in the Hundred Years' War against France between 1415 and 1420.¹ He was arrested on 18 February 1447.¹ He died on 23 February 1447 at London, England, at age 56 years. In captivity he probably of natural causes. The popular belief that he had been murdered led to widespread uprisings in 1450.¹

     1st Lord Lorn Robert Stewart of Lorn, esq. was the son of Sir John Stewart of Innermeath and Isabel de Ergadia.¹ Of Lorn and Innermeath at Scotland.¹ 1st Lord Lorn Robert Stewart of Lorn, esq. succeeded his father, who had resigned, to the whole Lordship of Lorn on 26 April 1421 at Argyll, Scotland.¹ He died before 1449.¹

     Dame de Châtillon-sur-Loing Catherine Lourdin de Saligny was only sister and heir of Claude Lourdin, Seigneur de Saligny, daughter of Jean II Lourdin, Seigneur de Saligny et de la Motte-S. Jean, Connestable des Royaumes de Naples et Sicile, and Jeanne Braque, dame de Chastillon-sur-Loing.² Also called dame de Saligny et de la Motte-S. Jean Catherine de Saligny.² She was born in 1420? At Châtillon-sur-Loing.³ She was the daughter of connéstable des royaumes de Naples et de Sicile Jean II Lourdin and dame de Châtillon-sur-Loing Jeanne Braque.^1,2 A contract for the marriage of dame de Châtillon-sur-Loing Catherine Lourdin de Saligny and Guillaume II, seigneur de Coligny, d'Andelot was signed on 12 June 1437 at Châtillon-sur-Loing.^1,4 Dame de Châtillon-sur-Loing Catherine Lourdin de Saligny died in 1449 at age 29 years.³

     Dame de Châtillon-sur-Loing Jeanne Braque was only daughter and heiress of Blanchet Braque.¹ She was born circa 1391?. She was the daughter of seigneur de Châtillon-sur-Loing et de Courcelles-le-Roi Blanchet Braque.^1,2 Dame de Châtillon-sur-Loing Jeanne Braque married Pierre de Courtenay III, seigneur de Champignelles, son of seigneur de Champignelles Pierre II de Courtenay and Agnes de Melun, on 17 May 1405; Her 1st.^1,3,2 Dame de Châtillon-sur-Loing Jeanne Braque was a widow in 1411.¹ She married connéstable des royaumes de Naples et de Sicile Jean II Lourdin, son of seigneur de Saligny Jean I Lourdin and Catherine de la Motte St. Jean, in 1418; Her 2nd.¹ Dame de Châtillon-sur-Loing Jeanne Braque died in 1449.⁴

     Cäcilie of Brandenburg was born say 1403. She married Wilhelm I, Herzog von Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel, son of Heinrich II, Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg and Sophie of Pomerania, in 1423 at Berlin.¹ Cäcilie of Brandenburg died in 1449.¹

     Walter, 1st Baron Hungerford of Farleigh, Lord Treasurer of England was of Farleigh at Somerset, England.¹ He was born circa 22 June 1378 at Farleigh-Hungerford, Somersetshire, England.^1,2 He was the son of Sir Thomas Hungerford of Farleigh and Wellow and Joan Hussey.^3,4 Walter, 1st Baron Hungerford of Farleigh, Lord Treasurer of England was strongly attached to the Lancastrian cause at the close of Richard II's reign.² He was granted an annuity of 40 pounds out of the lands of Margaret, Duchess of Norfolk, and was knighted circa 1401.² He was with the English army in France, and is said to have worsted the French King in a duel outside Calais in 1401 at Normandy.² He married Katherine Peverell, daughter of Thomas Peverell Esq., of Hamatethy and Margaret de Courtenay of Devonshire and Somerset, before September 1402; His 1st.⁴ Walter, 1st Baron Hungerford of Farleigh, Lord Treasurer of England fought bravely at the battle of Agincourt, but the assertion that he made the Duke of Orleans prisoner is not substantiated in 1415.² He was made Admiral of the fleet under John, Duke of Bedford in 1417.² He was installed Knight of the Garter on 3 May 1421.² He was summoned to the House of Lords as Baron Hungerford on 7 January 1425/26.² He married Alianore Berkeley, Countess of Arundel, daughter of Sir John de Berkeley of Beverstone and Elizabeth Betteshorne, before 8 May 1439 at Beverston, Gloucestershire, England; His 2nd. Her 3rd.² Walter, 1st Baron Hungerford of Farleigh, Lord Treasurer of England died on 9 August 1449.⁴ . He was buried beside his first wife in Salisbury Cathedral, within the iron chapel erected by himself, which is still extant, although removed from its original position.²

     Sir Roger Fiennes was christened on 14 September 1384 at Hurstmonceux, Sussex, England.¹ He was the son of Sir William Fiennes and Elizabeth Battisford.¹ Sir Roger Fiennes married Elizabeth Holland on 13 August 1409 at Brackley, Northamptonshire, England.¹ Sheriff of Sussex and Surrey.¹ Sir Roger Fiennes built the well-known castle of Herstmonceux, a fortified manor surrounded by a moat, one of the finest early brick buildings in England, circa 1444.^1,2 He died before 18 November 1449.¹

     William de la Pole, 4th Earl, 1st Duke of Suffolk was born on 16 October 1396 at Cotton, Suffolk, England.³ He was the son of Michael de la Pole, 2nd Earl of Suffolk and Lady Catherine de Stafford.^2,3 William de la Pole, 4th Earl, 1st Duke of Suffolk assumed command of the Siege of Orleans on 3 November 1428. He was defeated and taken prisoner by Joan of Arc at Jargeau on 12 June 1429.³ He was ransomed and then held his former command until recalled to England in 1431.³ He succeeded to the earldom of Pembroke in 1446.² He was created Duke of Suffolk on 2 June 1448. He died on 2 May 1450 at near Dover, Kent, England, at age 53 years, 6 months and 16 days. Suffolk left England on May 1, 1450, but he was intercepted in the English Channel by some of his enemies and beheaded. He died without surviving issue, and his titles became extinct.³

     Sir John Savage Knt., of Clifton was born circa 1380?. He was the son of John Savage Esq., of Clifton and Margaret Daniers.³ Sir John Savage Knt., of Clifton married Maud de Swynnerton, daughter of Sir Robert de Swynnerton Knt. and Elizabeth Beke, circa 1400; Her 3rd.^4,2,5 Sir John Savage Knt., of Clifton obtained, 3 Henry V, a grant of the arms of the family Daniers of Clifton, viz, Argent, four fusils in pale sable, between 1414 and 1416.³ He inherited Clifton through his mother Margaret between 1414 and 1416.³ He fought at Agincourt in 1415 at France.⁴ He was knighted in 1416.⁴ He died on 1 August 1450.¹

     William, 4th Baron Fitzhugh of Ravensworth was born circa 1398 at Ravensworth, Yorkshire, England.^2,3 He was the son of Henry, 4th Baron Fitzhugh of Ravensworth and Elizabeth Marmion.¹ William, 4th Baron Fitzhugh of Ravensworth married Margery Willoughby, daughter of William, 5th Lord Willoughby of Eresby and Joan Holland, at Ravensworth, Yorkshire, England.⁴ William, 4th Baron Fitzhugh of Ravensworth died on 22 October 1452 at Yorkshire, England.^5,6

     Isabelle, duchesse de Lorraine was born circa 1400?. She was the daughter of Charles I "le Hardi", duc de Lorraine and Marguerite de Baviere.^1,2 Isabelle, duchesse de Lorraine married René, duc d' Anjou, son of Louis II, duc d'Anjou and Yolanda de Aragón, in 1420.¹ Isabelle, duchesse de Lorraine was co-ruler with René, duc d' Anjou; Duke consort of Lorraine.¹ Duchess of Lorraine between 25 January 1431 and 1453.¹ Isabelle, duchesse de Lorraine was a witness where Alfonso V "el Magnánimo", rey de Aragón attempted to sieze Naples, defended by Isabella of Lorraine on behalf of her husband Rene of Anjou, in 1438.¹ Isabelle, duchesse de Lorraine defended Naples against Alfonso V of Aragon in 1438.¹ She was a witness where René, duc d' Anjou sailed for Naples in the Spring, which his wife Isabella had been defending against his rival Alfonso V of Aragon, in 1438.¹ Isabelle, duchesse de Lorraine was a witness where Alfonso V "el Magnánimo", rey de Aragón besieged Naples, defended by Rene of Anjoy and his wife Isabella of Lorraine, between November 1441 and June 1442.¹ Isabelle, duchesse de Lorraine died in 1453.¹

     Phillippa de Neville was born circa 1386 at Raby, Durham, England.¹ She was the daughter of Ralph, 1st Earl of Westmoreland and Margaret de Stafford.^2,1 Phillippa de Neville married Thomas, 6th Baron Dacre of Gillesland, son of William, 5th Baron Dacre of Gillesland and Joan Douglas. Phillippa de Neville died after 8 July 1453.¹

     John, 7th Lord Talbot, 1st Earl of Shewsbury was born circa 1390.³ He was the son of Richard, 4th Baron Talbot.² John, 7th Lord Talbot, 1st Earl of Shewsbury married Maud Neville, daughter of Thomas de Nevill and Joan Furnivall, on 12 March 1406/7.¹ Lord Lieutenant of Ireland between 1414 and 1420.⁴ John, 7th Lord Talbot, 1st Earl of Shewsbury was appointed into the Order of the Garter, #141, in 1424. He married Margaret Beauchamp, daughter of Richard (de Beauchamp), Earl of Warwick and Elizabeth, Baroness Berkeley; His 2nd.⁵ John, 7th Lord Talbot, 1st Earl of Shewsbury was referred to by Shakespeare as "the great Alcides of the field," one of the most renowned captains of the warlike age he lived in.⁶ He was a witness where Henry VI "of Windsor", King of England celebrated his coming-of-age by creating some new peers, including Richard Neville, Earl of Salisbury and John Talbot, Earl of Shrewsbury, (Talbot's second son became Lord Lisle), in 1442. 1st Earl of Shrewsbury at England between 1442 and 20 July 1453. John, 7th Lord Talbot, 1st Earl of Shewsbury was created Earl of the County of Salop, or as usually styled, Earl of Shrewsbury, on 20 May 1442.⁶ He was created Earl of Waterford on 17 July 1446 at Ireland.⁶ He died on 20 July 1453 at France. He was killed in battle with the Bastard of Orleans near Chastillon. In the battle he received a wound in the thigh, which proved immediately fatal. He had been victorious in forty different battles and dangerous skirmishes; his death proved fatal to the English dominion in France, which never flourished afterwards.^1,3

     Rey de Castilla y León Juan II de Trastamara was the son of Henry III and Catherine of Lancaster.² He was the father of Isabella I "la Católica", reina de Castilla y León; the daughter of John II of Castile and of his second wife, Isabella of Portugal.³ Rey de Castilla y León Juan II de Trastamara was born on 6 March 1405 at Toro.^1,4 He was the son of Enrique III "el Doliente", rey de Castilla y León and Catherine Plantagenet.^1,2 King of Castile at Spain between 1406 and 1454.^1,4 Rey de Castilla y León Juan II de Trastamara married Isabella de Borgonha, daughter of João, príncipe de Portugal and Isabella de Braganca, in August 1447 at Madrigal de las Altas Torres; His 2nd.^5,2 Rey de Castilla y León Juan II de Trastamara was the weakest and most despicable of the princes that ever ruled in Spain.⁶ He died on 22 July 1454 at Valladolid at age 49 years, 4 months and 16 days.^1,4

     Magdalene von Brandenburg was born circa 1412. She was the daughter of Friedrich I, Kurfürst von Brandenburg and Elisabeth von Wittelsbach.² Magdalene von Brandenburg married Friedrich II, Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg, son of Bernhard I, Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg, on 3 July 1429 at Tangermünde.^1,2 Magdalene von Brandenburg died on 27 October 1454 at Scharnebeck.²

     Arms: Gules, three escallops, argent.³ Thomas, 6th Baron Dacre of Gillesland was born on 27 October 1387 at Naworth Castle, Naworth, Cumberland, England.¹ He was the son of William, 5th Baron Dacre of Gillesland and Joan Douglas.² Thomas, 6th Baron Dacre of Gillesland married Phillippa de Neville, daughter of Ralph, 1st Earl of Westmoreland and Margaret de Stafford. Thomas was summoned to parliament between 1 December 1412 and 26 May 1455 as.² (1419/20) In the 8th Henry V constituted chief forester of Inglewood Forest at Cumberland.² (1423/24) In the 2nd Henry VI, appointed one of the commissioners to treat for peace with James I of Scotland.² He died in 1458 at age 70 years.²

     Sir Thomas Dacre Knt. was born circa 1410 at Naworth Castle, Brampton, Cumberland, England.¹ He was the son of Thomas, 6th Baron Dacre of Gillesland and Phillippa de Neville.^2,1 Sir Thomas Dacre Knt. married Elizabeth Bowet, daughter of Joan de Ufford.^3,2 Sir Thomas Dacre Knt. died before January 1457/58 at Lanercost, Cumberland, England.¹

     Thomas de Courtenay, 5th Earl of Devon was born circa 1390. He was the son of Hugh de Courtenay, 4th Earl of Devon and Anne Talbot.¹ Thomas de Courtenay, 5th Earl of Devon married Margaret Beaufort, daughter of John Beaufort, Earl of Somerset, Marquess of Dorset and Margaret, Marchioness of Dorset, before 1432.¹ Thomas de Courtenay, 5th Earl of Devon died on 3 February 1458 at the Abbey of Abingdon. He died on the journey to London, with other lords, to mediate between the King and the Duke of York.¹

     Ludwig III, Landgraf von Hessen was born on 6 February 1402 at Spangenberg.¹ He was the son of Hermann II, Landgraf von Hessen and Margarete of Nürnberg.¹ Ludwig III, Landgraf von Hessen married Anna von Sachsen, daughter of Friedrich I "der Streitbare", Markgraf von Meißen, Kurfürst von Sachsen and Katharina von Braunschweig-Lüneburg, on 8 September 1433 at Kassel.¹ Ludwig III, Landgraf von Hessen died on 17 February 1458 at Spangenberg at age 56 years and 11 days.¹

     Sir Ralph de Neville married Mary de Ferrers, daughter of Robert, 2nd Lord Ferrers of Wemme and Joan Beaufort, Lady Ferrers de Wemme.^2,3 Sir Ralph de Neville was born circa 1390. He was the son of Ralph, 1st Earl of Westmoreland and Margaret de Stafford.¹ Sir Ralph de Neville died on 26 February 1457/58.⁴

     Alfonso V "el Magnánimo", rey de Aragón also went by the name of Alfonso V "the Magnanimous".³ He was born circa 1394.³ He was the son of Fernando I "el de Antequera", rey de Castilla y León and condesa de Albuquerque Eleonore Sánchez.^3,1 King of Aragón at Spain between 2 April 1416 and 1458.¹ Alfonso V "el Magnánimo", rey de Aragón attempted to sieze Naples, defended by Isabella of Lorraine on behalf of her husband Rene of Anjou, in 1438.⁴ He was a witness where Isabelle, duchesse de Lorraine defended Naples against Alfonso V of Aragon in 1438.⁴ Alfonso V "el Magnánimo", rey de Aragón was a witness where René, duc d' Anjou besieged in Naples by Alfonso V of Aragon between November 1441 and June 1442.⁴ Alfonso V "el Magnánimo", rey de Aragón besieged Naples, defended by Rene of Anjoy and his wife Isabella of Lorraine, between November 1441 and June 1442.⁴ He was a witness where René, duc d' Anjou abandoned Naples to Alfonso V of Aragon in June 1442.⁴ Alfonso V "el Magnánimo", rey de Aragón died on 27 June 1458.^1,3

     Alice de Braose was born circa 1350. She was the daughter of Sir John de Braose Knt..¹ Alice de Braose married Sir William de Cailly of Owby, son of Sheriff of Norfolk John de Cailly of Owby, before 1370.^1,2 Alice de Braose died on 3 October 1458.¹

     Thomas Beaupre was born circa 1388 at Outwell, Norfolk, England. He was the son of Nicholas de Beaupre and Margaret Holdich. Thomas Beaupre married Margaret Meers, daughter of John Meers, before 1437. Thomas Beaupre left a will on 7 October 1452. He died circa 1459.

     Stefan von Simmern, Pfalzgraf in Simmern und Zweibrücken was born on 23 June 1385.¹ He was the son of Ruprecht III "Klem", Pfalzgraf bei Rhein and Elisabeth von Nürnberg.¹ Stefan von Simmern, Pfalzgraf in Simmern und Zweibrücken married Anna von Veldenz in 1410 at Heidelberg.¹ Stefan von Simmern, Pfalzgraf in Simmern und Zweibrücken died on 14 February 1459 at Simmern at age 73 years, 7 months and 22 days.¹

     Nicholas Beaupre was born circa 1386 at Outwell, Norfolk, England. He was the son of Nicholas de Beaupre and Margaret Holdich. Nicholas Beaupre died before 9 March 1459.

     Sir Walter Devereaux was born in 1411 at Bodenham, Herefordshire, England.¹ He was the son of Walter Devereaux and Elizabeth Bromwitch.¹ Sir Walter Devereaux married Elizabeth Merbury between 1425 and 1432 at Herefordshire, England.¹ Sir Walter Devereaux died on 22 April 1459 at age 48 years.¹

     Robert, 2nd Baron Hungerford of Farleigh was born between 1409 and 1413.³ He was the son of Walter, 1st Baron Hungerford of Farleigh, Lord Treasurer of England and Katherine Peverell.³ Robert, 2nd Baron Hungerford of Farleigh married Margaret Botreaux, daughter of William, 3rd Lord Botreaux and Elizabeth de Beaumont, circa 6 July 1422 at Aller, Somersetshire, England.⁴ Robert, 2nd Baron Hungerford of Farleigh was aged 26 in 1439.³ He was aged 40 in 1449.³ He died on 14 May 1459.¹

     James, 5th Lord Audley was a witness where Elizabeth Touchet daughter of James Tuchet, Lord Audley.³ James, 5th Lord Audley was born in 1398 at Haleigh, Staffordshire, England.⁴ He was the son of John Touchet, 4th Lord Audley and Isabel (?).² 5th Baron Audley between 18 December 1408 and 1459.^5,2,6 James, 5th Lord Audley married Margaret de Ros, daughter of William, 6th Lord Ros of Helmsley and Margaret FitzAlan de Arundel, circa 1415; His 1st.^2,7 James, 5th Lord Audley took a distinguished part in the wars in France after 1421.² He was received summons to Parliament between 26 February 1421 and 26 May 1455.² He married Eleanor Holland, daughter of Edmund (de Holand), Earl of Kent, Lord Wake, Lord Woodstock, and Lord Holand and Constance Plantagenet, on 14 September 1429; Dispensation. His 2nd.^2,8,9 James, 5th Lord Audley was granted an exemption from Parliament in 1447.² Chief Justice at South Wales before 1459.² He took up arms on behalf of the Lancastrians and the ill-fated Henry VI.² Chamberlain at South Wales before 1459.² War of Roses - York defeats Lancaster. Lancastrians attack Yorkists and are defeated. Lord Audley killed, Lord Dudley captured and brought over to Yorkist side. On 23 September 1459 at Blore Heath, Shropshire, England. He died on 23 September 1459 at the Battle of Blomere Heath, Shropshire, England, at age 61 years. He was killed in battle against the Yorkists as commander for the Lancaster Royal Army.^4,10
