     Maud de Normandie was illegitimate daughter of King Henry I of England.^2,1 She was born in 1105?. She was the daughter of Henri I "Beauclerc", roi d' Angleterre and unknown mistress of Henry I. Maud de Normandie married Conan III, duc de Bretagne, son of Alain IV "Fergent", duc de Bretagne and Ermengarde d' Anjou, before 1125.¹

     Also called Alberge (?).² Adelberge (?) was born circa 1022. She married Lancelin II, seigneur de Beaugency, son of Lancelin I, seigneur de Beaugency and Paule du Maine.²

     Guy de Baudemont was born circa 1105. He was the son of André de Baudemont, seigneur de Braine-sur-Vesle, senéchal de Champagne and Agnes (?). Guy de Baudemont married Alix (?) before 1130.

     Ranulf of Normandy was is known from Charters. He was born before 990. He was the son of Herbastus de Crepon Jr..

     Alice de Lusignan was born after 1237.      Eleanor FitzPiers was widow of John de Mohun and daughter of Sir Reynold FitzPiers.¹ She was born in 1263?. She was the daughter of Reynold fitz Piers, Lord of Blaen Llynfi and Lady of Chewton Joan de Vivonia.^2,1 Eleanor FitzPiers married John de Mohun, son of John de Mohun and Joan de Ferrers; Her 1st.^1,3 Eleanor FitzPiers had dower under writ on 18 October 1279.³ She married William, 1st Lord Martin, son of Nicholas Martin and Maud de Brian, before January 1281/82; Her 2nd (widow).^4,1

     Lucy "the Countess" of Lincoln was the mother of Ranulph de Gernon, 5th Earl of Chester; son of Countess Lucy of Lincoln.⁶ Lucy "the Countess" of Lincoln married Ivo Taillebois, Sheriff of Lincolnshire; Her 1st.^2,3,5 Lucy "the Countess" of Lincoln was per the Peterborough Chronicle and the Pseudo-Ingulf's Chronicle of Crowland, the daughter of Algar and niece or great-niece of Turold.³ She was per the genealogia fundatoris of Coventry Abbey, a daughter of Earl Algar, and sister and heiress of earls Edwin and Morcar.³ "I exposed the absurd story, stereotyped in English History, of the three husbands of Lucia, Countess of Chester, which had been first doubted by the Rev. Mr. Bowles in his "History of Laycock Abbey;" but with the particular object of that Paper I have at present nothing to do." - J.R. Planché, Somerset Herald (whose own work is higly questionable!).⁷ She was the heir of Turold per a revealing phrase from the Register of Spalding Priory which reads: 'mortuo quia dicto Thoraldo relicta sibi herede Lucia predicta' [at his death Turold left an heir, the aforesaid Lucy].³ She was the daughter and heiress of Turold, the Sheriff of Lincoln, and of Robert Malet's sister.^8,5,9 The suggestion, that she was the daughter of Robert Malet's sister and Turold the Sheriff of Lincoln, was first made by R. Kirk in 1888. As N. Sumner has more recently observed: "This account has the merit of explaining why the lordship of Spalding and other places in Lincolnshire were held after Ivo's death not by Beatrice, his direct heir and the daughter of his marriage to Lucy, but by the later husbands of Lucy, Roger fitz Gerold and Ranulph Meschines."³ Also called Lucia (?).⁷ She and Ivo Taillebois, Sheriff of Lincolnshire founded, or perhaps re-founded, a priory at Spalding subject to St Nicholas, Angers.³ Lucy "the Countess" of Lincoln was born circa 1066.⁵ She was the daughter of Turold of Bucknell, Sheriff of Lincoln and N. N. Malet.^3,5 Lucy "the Countess" of Lincoln and Ivo Taillebois, Sheriff of Lincolnshire made a grant to Saint-Nicholas d'Angers in 1083.⁵ Lucy "the Countess" of Lincoln married Roger fitz Gerald de Romare, Lord of Bolingbroke, son of Gerald de Romare and Emicia (?), in 1095?; Her 2nd.^3,10 Lucy "the Countess" of Lincoln married Ranulph "le Meschin", 4th Earl of Chester, son of Ranulph II, vicomte de Bayeaux and Margaret d' Avranches, circa 1098; His 2nd. Her 3rd (widow).^{11,12,3,10,13} Lucy "the Countess" of Lincoln was identified in a charter of the future Henry II for Lucy's son Ranulf II of Chester, as, probably erroneously, the niece of Robert Malet and Alan of Lincoln, Alan the successor, and almost certainly the son, of Domesday's Alfred of Lincoln.¹⁴ She was related to Robert I Malet of Eye; per correction to a scribes error regarding Lucy as niece of Robert Malet and Alan of Lincoln, the uncle of Lucy (correct) and Alan of Lincoln (corrected).³

     Clemence de Foix was hypothesized as another sibling of the family of Bernard Roger, Count of Foix, and provisionally named Clemence.¹ She was born circa 1010. She was the daughter of Bernard Roger I, comte de Couserans, de Foix et de Bigorre and Gersinde, comtesse de Bigorre. Clemence de Foix married Adalbert, Herzog von Ober-Lothringen, son of Gerhard II, Vogt von Remiremont, Graf von Metz and Gisela von Ober-Lothringen, circa 1030.

     Gainfroi of Austrasia was born circa 770. He was the son of comte de Sens, duc d'Austrasie Mainier of Austrasia and daughter of Haudre.¹ Gainfroi of Austrasia married Theidlindis de Blois, daughter of Aubri II de Blois, before 795.²

     Daughter of Haudre was born circa 747. She was the daughter of Duke Haudre (?).¹ Daughter of Haudre married comte de Sens, duc d'Austrasie Mainier of Austrasia before 770.

     Aubri I de Blois was born circa 720. He was the son of Albéric (?) and Adèle des Francs.^1,4

     Princess of Austrasia. Accepted by Eckhardt as daughter of Dagobert II but believed by Hlawitscha to be daughter of Hugobert and Irma. (Identification of Adela's parents depends on a forged charter.).⁵ Adèle des Francs was born before 678. She was the daughter of rex Francorum, vir inluster Dagoberchtus II des Francs and Mechtilde (?).^1,4,5 Adèle des Francs married Albéric (?) circa 696.⁴

     Berthilda (?) was born circa 593. She married Dagoberchtus I, rex Francorum, vir inluster, son of Chlothacharius II, rex Francorum and Berthetrude of Burgundy, before 639; His 5th.^1,2

     Basena, Frankenkönigin was born circa 440. She was the daughter of N. N. the Thuringian and N. N. (?).² Basena, Frankenkönigin married Bisin, Thüringerkönig circa 460; Her 1st.³ Basena, Frankenkönigin married Childericus I, rex Francorum, son of Merovech, rex Francorum and Chlodoswintha, in 463 at Thuringia, Germany; Her 2nd.⁴ "Basina quae Bisinum regem in Thoringia jugalem habebat, cum audisset Childericum a Francis in regno sublimatum, cursu veloci relinquens Bisinum ad Childericum transiit."⁵

     Bisin, Thüringerkönig was born circa 400. He was born circa 440. He married Basena, Frankenkönigin, daughter of N. N. the Thuringian and N. N. (?), circa 460; Her 1st.²

     Also called König der salischen Franken Chlodio des Salfranken. Also called Roy des François Clodion "le Chevelu" des François.⁴ We read in the consular lists "that Clodio, a man of high birth and marked ability among his people, was King of the Franks and that he lived in the castle of Duisburg in Thuringian territory." Clodio sent spies to the town of Cambrai, and when they discovered all that they needed to know, he himself followed and crushed the Romans and captured the town. He lived there only a short time and then occupied the country up to the River Somme. Some say that Merovech, the father of Childeric, was descended from this Clodio.⁵ Also called Chlogio.² Chlodion, rex Francorum also went by the name of Chlodio "the Long Haired" Long hair, and long beards, were a mark of freedom from the short haired, clean shaven, Romans. In time the symbol of kingly or political power among the Franks was their long hair. Also called Chlodio Crinitus. He was born circa 394. He was the son of Pharamond, rex Francorum and Argotta des Francs Ripuaires.^1,3 Chlodion, rex Francorum married Basina von Thüringen, daughter of Weldelphus von Thüringen, before 414; Her 2nd. Widowed.^6,7 Chlodion, rex Francorum was the successor of Pharamond, rex Francorum; 1st King of the Franks. Chlodion, rex Francorum renounced the suzerainty of Rome and broke across the Scheldt River, spreading southward into Gaul until reaching Tournai and Cambrai after 428.⁸ Annals of Monte Fernando 430: "Secundus rex Francie Glodus."⁹ He became the second king of the Franks in 430.⁹ He captured the Roman town of Turnacum (Tournai) in 430 at Belgica, Praefectura Gallia, Western Roman Empire.^10,11 King of the Salian Franks at Tournai, Frankish Kingdoms, between 430 and 448. He was defeated by the Roman general Aetius at Helena (Hélesme), between Tournai and Cambrai, preventing further Frankish expansion, in 431.⁸ He died in 446.⁷ He was a successful frankish leader, taking Roman territory after a long struggle with the Roman General Ætius, capturing Artois, Cambray, Tournay, and other land as far as the River Somme, and came to reside in Amiens, before 447.⁶ He died in 448.^12,13

     Seisyll ab Ednywain o Gwynedd was born circa 955. He was the son of Einydd Bach ap Pyll o Gwynedd. Seisyll ab Ednywain o Gwynedd married Prawst verch Elise o Gwynedd, daughter of Elise ab Anarawd o Gwynedd, before 980.

     Esyllt ferch Cynan Dindaethwy married Gwriad ab Elidyr, Brenin Ynys Manau, son of Elidyr ap Sandde, Brenin Ynys Manau and Celemion verch Tudwal o Ynys Manau, before 764.² Esyllt ferch Cynan Dindaethwy was born circa 770 at Caer Seiont, Caernarvonshire, Wales.⁶ She was the daughter of Cynan Dindaethwy ap Rhodri Molwynog, Brenin Gwynedd and Matilda of Flint.^1,5,2,3

     Gwerystan ap Gwaethfoed o Powys is only known through his name, as a patronymic for his son Cynfyn, but the earlier generations of his pedigree show wide variation, and are probably a late invention.^1,2 He was born circa 970 at Powys, Wales.³ He was the son of Gwaethfoed ap Gwrhydr.¹ Gwerystan ap Gwaethfoed o Powys married Nest verch Cadell, daughter of Brenin Powys Cadell Powys ap Brochfael o Powys, before 1002; Not chronologically possible.^3,1

     Nest ferch Cadell o Powys probably never existed, and the supposed line of descent through her from the kings of Powys is probably not valid.² She was born circa 770 at Powys, Wales.³ She was the daughter of Brenin Powys Cadell Powys ap Brochfael o Powys.¹ Nest ferch Cadell o Powys married Brenin Gwynedd Merfyn Frych ap Gwriad o ne Rheged, son of Gwriad ab Elidyr, Brenin Ynys Manau and Esyllt ferch Cynan Dindaethwy, before 810; Dubious.^4,5
