He was a member of the Council of Regency under John, Duke of Bedford, in 1415. He left a will on 18 October 1424. He was a witness where John, Lord Latimer settled Corby and the other Latymer manors on his Nevill half-brother Lord Westmoreland (Ralph) to the exclusion of his full sister's son before 1425.2 Ralph, 1st Earl of Westmoreland died on 21 October 1425 at Raby Castle, Staindrop, County Durham, England.7,9 Ralph, 1st Earl of Westmoreland was buried in St. Marys, Staindrop, County Durham, England. Dear Newsgroup ~

Complete Peerage 2 (1912): 61 (sub Beaumont) states that Katherine
Everingham, widow of Sir John Beaumont, Lord Beaumont, "died 1426."
No source is given for the death date.

Calendar of Fine Rolls, 15 (1935): 137 indicates that a writ of diem
clausit extremum for "Katherine late the wife of John de Bello Monte,
'chivaler'" was issued 1 February 1426/7. As such, it would appear
that Katherine (Everingham) Beaumont died shortly before 1 February
    1426/7.

Best always, Douglas Richardson, Salt Lake City, Utah
