Mr. Moore
George Parker Moore, 67, of Oxon Hill, Md., died Wednesday, June 12, in Arlington, Va.
He was a native of Franklin, and a son of the late Alexander and Cansada Corbin Moore. He was a retired carpenter and a member of Union Carpenter Local 1665. He was a member of Fort Foote Baptist Chruch, where he was a deacon and a Sunday School teacher.
He is survived by a son, Gerald P. Moore of Oxon Hill, Md.; a daughter, Robin M. Harmon, of Springfield, Va.; a brother, Alexander Jackson Moore, Jr.; a sister, Cleobelle Moore DeGoyler, and two grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at noon on Saturday, June 15, at Macon County, North Carolina - Woodlawn Cemtery. Parents: Larkin Alexander "Alex" MOORE Sr. and Cansada "Ada" CORBIN.
