Mrs. Davenport
Mildred Moore Davenport, 73, of Fort Pierce, Fla., formerly of Franklin, died Monday, Feb 8, in Fort Pierce.
She was a daughter of the late Larkin Alexander and Cansada Corbin Moore. She was librarian for the Macon County Library for six years, and later a volunteer aide. She was a member of Friends of the Macon County Library and the First Baptist Chruch in Franklin.
Surviving are a son, William L. Davenport of Fort Pierce, Fla.; a sister Cleo Belle DeGolyer of Maynardsville, Tenn., two brothers, George and Alex Moore of Virginia; and a granddaughter, Laura.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, in the chapel of Bryant Funeral Home, with Rev. Bob Page officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
