Death Claims Mrs. Berry
Dies At Seven Springs Saturday; Rites Held Here
Mrs. Minnie Sellers Berry, native of this county and widow of J.Alex Berry, died Saturday at 3:55 pm at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L.H. Head at Seven Springs.
Seventy-nine years old, she had been ill for only a short time.
Funeral services were conducted Monday at 11:00 am in the chapel of Bryant Funeral Home. Officiating were the Rev. Bryan Hatchett, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, and the Rev. A. Rufus Morgan, rector of the St. Agnes Episcopal Church. Burial was at Holly Springs.
Born October 6, 1875. Mrs. Berry was the daughter of George and Tilithia Bradley Sellers. She was a member of the Ellijay Baptist Church. Her Husband died November 18, 1947.
IN addition to her daughter, she is survived by two sons, Roy of Waynesville, and William of Seven Springs; two other daughters, Mrs. Wilbur Eatman, of Reidsville, and Mrs. Richard H. Slagle, of Franklin, Route 1; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Don Bryson, Don Henry, William Crawford, Parker Higdon, Dr. Edgar Angel, and Alex Deal.
Bryant Funeral Home was in charge. Parents: Living and Living.
