Christopher Columbus "Lum" SETZER Sr. was born on Nov 15, 1875 in Miller County, Missouri. He died on Apr 5, 1951 in Pulaski County, Missouri. He was buried in Pulaski County, Missouri - Livingstone Cemetery.

Obituary from The Pulaski County Democrat, Pulaski County, Missouri, dated April 12, 1951:
C. C. Setser, son of J. A. Setser and Jemima Setser was born November 15, 1875 near Iberia, Miller County, Missouri and passed away April 5th, 1951at the Waynesville General Hospital at the age of 75 years, 4 months and 20 days. He was united in marriage on September 21, 1894 to Stella Musick of Iberia, Missouri and to this union five children were born:
1. Camillia Setser Spearman of Jefferson City, Missouri;
2. Sarah Setser Rapp of Sedalia, Missouri;
3. Johnny Setser of Tuscumbia, Missouri; two daughters,
4. Lura Setser,
5. Blanche Setser and his wife also proceeded him in death.
On October 17th, 1923 he was married to Emma B. Ichord of Crocker, Missouri, and to this union two children were born:
1. Emma Jean Setser Wolf of Sacramento, Calif. and
2. C. C. Setser Jr. of Georgetown, Kentucky.
He also leaves two step-children:
a. Richard Ichord of Scarsdale, New York and
b. Ina Icord Blacklund of Fort Bragg, California
He is survived by one brother, Felix Setser of Tuscumbia, Missouri and leaves five grandchildren and two step-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
In early life he professed faith in Christ and joined the Christian Church of Iberia, Missouri, later moving his membership to the Fairview Christian Church where his membership remained until his death.
In 1918 he was elected to the office of the Collector of the Revenue for Miller County where he had a wide acquaintance and many friends. The last 17 years of his life was spent on a small farm near Crocker, Missouri, where he made many friends. Lum, as he was familiarly known, had a cheerful word of all and was loved by everyone, even to the children who will miss him greatly. Funeral services were held last Saturday, April 7th at the Crocker Baptist church with Rev. Mark Sooter of Eldon, officiating, assisted by the Reverend Ralph Blair and interment was made in the Livingstone Cemetery under the direction of the Hedges Funeral Home of Crocker. Pallbearers were Wilbert Keeth, Kellis Lamb, Frank Shaw, Mert Skaggs, Dewey Williams and Allen Shaw.
