Delis Holland

Delis Holland, 85, of Setser Branch Road, Franklin, died Monday, March 1, 2004, at his residence. He was a native of Macon County, the son of the late Radford Lawson and Sarah Elizabeth McCoy Holland. He was married to Ilene Katherine Taylor Holland who died in 1990. He was a construction worker and was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Franklin VFW Post 7339 and American Legion Post 108.

He is survived by three daughters, Nancy Hall of Harpers Ferry, West Va., Sylvia Ann Cross of Franklin and Elizabeth Harmon of Petersburg, West Va.; one brother, Willard Holland of Salisburg, six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Friday, March 5, at 1 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery. The VFW Post 7339 and American Legion Post 108 will perform military graveside rites.

Bryant Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Parents: Radford HOLLAND and Sarah Elizabeth MCCOY.
