George Washington Papers Series 4. General Correspondence. 1697-1799 Thomas Terrill to George Washington, October 7, 1775, Request for Discharge Image 328 of 1137. To look this over, go to:

http://memory.loc.gov/ammem/mdbquery.html

and type in "Terrill" to search (or Thomas Terrill). It shows the copy of the actual discharge request for health reasons. I only have two Thomas Terrills in this age range, this man and one other. I don't know for sure which Terrill he is. Since this one died in 1781, and the other one after 1800, it would seem like this man would most likely be the one with health problems mentioned in the letter.
