A further note from him says:

Yes, Martha A. Terrell and John P. Robertson is in my maternal line.
There is a marriage bond between them dated 14 September 1838 in Wake
county, with bondsman S. R. Marriott and witness A. Williams. Their
children were Rowan (f1840), Gaius (m1842), Grizzie (f1843), Claudius
(m1845), Margaret (f1847/8), Leonidus (m1849), John (m1852), Emma
(f1856), Sallie (f1858), and Georgia (f1860). All the children except
Georgia were born in NC. She was born in Arkansas, where they relocated.
This information is taken from the NC and AR censuses. Emma is my
ancestor. She and two other of the Robertson children married into the
same Parker family from Georgia, who had also moved to Arkansas. I do
have some more exact dates on a few of the children, and will send them
at a later date, if you want them.

Then another from him:

Here is the additional information I mentioned.

From Scott Cemetery records (3 miles W. of Magnolia on Hwy 132,

Both are buried in Scott Cemetery, Magnolia, AR. Inscription on Martha's
stone reads "Born in Wake Co NC Daughter of Solomon and Mary Terrell,
wife of John P. Robertson"

From an Arkansas Journal (no further information):
"Robertson, Claudius N. of Winthrop, Ark., was born Aug 13, 1846 in Wake
Co, NC. Was enlisted at Camden, Ark., in Frank McNalley's Batt. W. B.
Black Batt., served in this command and was disbanded at the close of
the war. Certified by Jno. E. McCall, Assessor of Little River Co, Ark.,

From Shover Springs (Hempstead Co, Ark) records:
Lee S. Robertson b. 8-8-1845 d. 11-22-1928 (this is Leonidas)
Sallie Robertson b. 2-3-1868 d. 2-2-1911 wife of L. S. Robertson

Joseph L. Card b. 8-14-1836 d. 3-22-1911

Grizzie A. Card b. 8-9-1843 d. 8-4-1906

And a third one:

This is beginning to get a little more interesting. My gg-grandmother
(Emma Jane Robertson, daughter of John P Robertson and Martha Terrell)
married a John C (Cicero, I think) Parker, whose family moved to
Arkansas from Meriwether County, Georgia. (Also, two others of those
families married each other.) Emma Jane and John C Parker had a daughter
named Clara Estelle (1887-1930) who married a Walter F. Terrell (dates unknown), and they had (at least) three children, Robert Horace, John
Searcy and Marguerite (dates unknown) who were from the general area of
Union County, I believe. I think Marguerite lived in Monroe, Louisiana
at one time. Do any of these names look like they might tie in with your Terrells? Marguerite married a Conley Thornhill.

Mike is at: and is living in Charlotte, NC
