died in 1793 (Madison Co. VA Will Book 1, p.22) and was the son of David Yowell. David, Jr. was deeded land with his brother James by James Yowell, son of James. (50 a., 8/14/1777, Deed Book H, pg. 565). James Yowell deeded a negro to his brother David (Deed Book I, pg. 125).
The children are from "Yowell-A Genealogical Collection", Clark S. Yowell, and David Jr.'s will, written 10/3/1792, Culpeper Co and proven 12/26/1793, Madison Co., VA. Death dates are from either a will or other probate record. David's estate administration bond is dated 10/23/1794, Madison Co., VA.

Another guardianship bond lists Elisha Berry and John Wetherall as guardians of Elijah Yowell, (#9A), 9/27/1798, Madison Co.
Elijah, Rowland, and Allen were in the 1850 census and the latter two, were in 1860 census for Madison Co., VA. (Some of this info supplied by Kathleen Marie Morgan)
