Sarah Martha Taylor MOORE was born about 1845. She married John Gibson TERRILL on 4 Jan 1868 in , Orange Co., Virginia.

Dr./Surgeon Charles Taylor, Sarah's Grandfather, was a cousin of both Pres James Madison and Pres. Zachary Taylor and is a DAR link. He is also connected to CSA Pres. Jefferson Davis through Davis's first marriage to Sarah Knox Taylor. Through the Taylor family, there are also links with Patrick Henry and Pres. George Washington. Sarah and John were given a Virginia farm at the time of their marriage.
