"John Terrell Jr. interviewed a Miss Jones of Yancyville, North Carolina, who he describes as an "old maid school teacher." Her sister apparently had three children (perhaps out of wedlock) by a Jesse Terrell. The "old maid school teacher" apparently raised all three. John Jr. says one was named Jesse III and another was "Buddy." We do not know the third. One of them ran an "Antique Shop" in Yancyville. For obvious reasons, the "old maid school teacher" did not want to talk about her sister's spouse. A Jan Taylor (from the Prodigy computer service) says she is a descendant of Jesse, Jr. Her information is given here."
