years old She died 23 Lipca (July) 1921 Agnieszka TORCZON was a daughter of John
and Maria AUGUSTYN TORCZON. According to information on the U.S.
censuses, Agnieszka (Agnes) was born about 1875 in Poland and
immigrated to the United States in 1879. She married John J. NOSAL
about 1891 in Tarnov, Platte County, Nebraska. Agnes and John were the
parents of: Stanislaus, Michael, Victor, Mary, Cecelia, Anna,
Josephine, Philip, Nora, Mathilda, John, and Rosie.

| The Centennial book of Ss. Peter and Paul Church (Krakow, Nance County, Nebraska, page 219) notes that Bartholomew Nosal, his wife and four children were passengers who arrived in New York, June 14, 1876, on the ship Hammonia. The passenger list names Bartholomeus (age 45) and his family, Tecla (age 45), John (age 9), Michael (age 7), Marcus (age 4, and Martin (age 11 months). According to information received from another researcher, Bartholomew and Tekla were married about 1852. They lived in Polk county a while before moving to Platte County. | |
