Marge GALUS Sandlier
Thirty-plus years ago my Mother and I began researching our
family history. My Mother kept all her handwritten notes in a
spiral notebook and plastic tote bag. In 1995 I started
computerizing our data. My ancestors immigrated from Poland,
Germany and Austria. They settled in Nance and Platte Counties
in Nebraska. There are also ties to Holt, Madison, Douglas and
Boone Counties in Nebraska.

Bruce
SANDLIER
In 1995 Bruce developed an interest in seeking his family roots.
Bruce was originally from the East Coast. When we traveled east
to visit his relatives, we spent as much time as we could
looking for new pieces of his family puzzle. Bruce's ancestors
settled in Chester and Philadelphia Counties in Pennsylvania,
and in Camden and Gloucester Counties in New Jersey. They
immigrated from Italy, Ireland and Germany. Many of
Bruce's maternal lines go back to the colonial time in the
United States and have been researched extensively. After
finding his link to those families, Bruce concentrated on his
paternal Italian ancestors.
Bruce died in August 2011 from prostate cancer. I
continue to maintain our webpage and answer e-mails about his
family as best I can. From time to time I do some
additional research on his family lines.

We've found a great deal of help from the USGenWeb for the
counties we've been researching. Following are links to the
various counties. We've also included other sites that were
helpful or interesting.
