Rodman Sisson Jr. was omitted from his father's (Rodman Sr.'s) family when it was presented in the Sisson Newsletter, v.?, no.?. The Sisson Newsletter, v.3, no.4, reports Rodman Jr.'s birth in 1777, but also reports his baptism in the Baptist Church of Exeter, RI, in October 1777. Baptist churches pointedly do NOT baptise infants or children. All of Rodman's children are reported without birthdates but only with dates of baptism. I find this situation unlikely. Source: "Early Records of the Town of Portsmouth" pages 328 and 380. The Sisson Newsletter for Summer 2000 (vol 14, no 2, page 12) says that Moses and his second wife Phebe (Lawton) Sisson had four children and that Adeline Sisson was a daughter of Moses and his third wife Susan (Dennis) Sisson.
