Descendant Scott Reichard cites a Cook genealogy which says that Abigail Cook was a daughter of Job and Freelove (Gubbins) Cook.

Abigail married (MRIN:858) John SISSON Jr.-1556, son of John SISSON-2266 and Elizabeth BRIGGS-1557 (MRIN:1011), on 29 Jan 1792. John was born about 1766. He died in Rensselaer Co., New York.

John and his brothers Joseph and Job appear to have moved to New York. They disposed of their land in Portsmouth, RI, in three "indentures tripartite" in 1790. These documents name their wives.
