She died giving birth to her first child while she was young and baby died. I was also told that she and baby died "in flu epidemic."

My mother, Eunice Fowler, says that he was electrocuted at work (was a lineman).
May [scrapbook] was born about 1880. She married Arthur COLE.
She did well after her husband's accidental death. She became head housekeeper at a fancy resort hotel on an island off the coast of California. Eunice Fowler Wayland has a letter from her written when she worked at the Alexandria Hotel in Los Angeles.
Robert COLE [Parents] [scrapbook] was born on 12 May 1894. He died in Dec 1977 in Branford, New Haven Co., Conn.. Robert married Susie.
Have a photo of this man about 1917 sitting in a buggy with "Susie, his wife or girl friend." 6242.jpg I got these birth and death dates from SSDI, and they may not be accurate.
Susie was born on 18 Feb 1895 in , , Conn.. She died on 10 May 1991 in , , Conn.. Susie married Robert COLE.
