Breesia Cox
Breesia S. Cox, 80, died at 6:30 a.m. Friday at the Albia Care center.
A homemaker, she was born October 7, 1902 in Humboldt, Nebraska to John and Nerrie Simmons Legg. She was a resident of Albia and Bloomfield most of her life.
She married Arch Loney on Dec. 20, 1920 in Bloomfield. She married Robert R. Cox on Dec. 26, 1954 at Barnes City. He died October 28, 1975.
Survivors include a daughter, Idhona Whisler of Albia; two sons, Darrell Loney of Cedar Rapids and Deo Loney of Donnelson; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday at the Wagler Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Gordon Fisher. Burial was in the IOOF Cemetery.
