Hello--thanks for the file. It took me awhile to open the file; I am up on
computers but not as uptodate on email.

Here's the information I show my the Rosemond Dugas I am searching:

In search of Vandergriff information,
I found in the marriage information that January 8, 1885, Noimie, daughter of
Rosemond Dugas and Amelie Martin, married John Vandergriff.

Amelie Martin, funeral at St. John the Evangelist in Lafayette, 12/17/1882 at
age 66. with Husband, Rosemond Dugas taking care of arrangements or listed as
family source. Her birth would be approx. 1818.

Rosamond Dugas, b. unknown (or could be 1806 as your file suggests)
died: about 1883
Rosamond Dugas not listed in either section of Cemetery book.

I haven't thoroughly searched Father Hebert's book on the Dugas name, so I
will look through they the next trip to the Clayton Library in Houston.

As far as the Bonin/Bonnin name is concerned:

Pierre Simeon Patout and Appoline Fournier Patout arrived 1829 from France.
daughter Azelie Irma Patout married Hypolite Baron Bayard
daughter Claire Appoline Bayard married Alcide Octive Louviere in 1890 (son
of Octave Sylvestre and Alzire Marie Broussard (7 children from this
issue).Robert Alcide Louviere,Ada Emerite Louviere,Justin Clarence
Louviere,Ernest Louviere,Louise Irma Louviere,Louis A. Louviere,James Ivy
Louviere.

There were other children from Azelie Patout and Hypolite Bayard but I have
not listed all of the info. I have just listed the Bonnin, Louviere's
connection.

Azelie Irma Patout's daughter Zulmee Bayard married Fisson Joseph Bonnin,
1852, New Iberia, son of Lasaline Bonin and Cecile Broussard.
four children of this issue: Emerite Irma, May Marie, Alfred, and Wilfred
Joseph Bonnin (he spelled his name with three n's.) They were all born on
the Daisy Plantation owned by the Bayard/Bonin's in Patoutville near the
Enterprise Plantation there still owned by the Patout family.

Wilfred Joseph is my father-in-law. He married Lilllian Guidry and they had
three children. Wilfred and Lillian are both deceased.

Theresa Marie (born in 1928, Wilfred Grant (1930), and Elmo J. Bonnin (born
in 1933)
both Theresa Marie (Granger) and Wilfred Grant are now deceased.

One more note: I show Lasaline Bonin parents as Moise Bonin and Marie Denise
Breaux married in 1815 in St. Martinville. I would like to check this out
more thoroughly as there appears to be many Moise Bonin's.
