This Indenture made the twelfth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty two (1862) Between Henry Wolf of the Bourough of Harmony, County of Butler and State of Pennsylvania, and Sarah Ann Wolf his wife of the first part and Jacob Schoene of the Borough of Zelienople of the second part. Witnesseth, That the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of Seventeen Hundred and fifty Dollars lawful money of the United States of America unto them well and truly paid by the said party of the second part at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged. Have granted, bargained, sold, aleined, enfeeoffed, released, conveyed and confirmed, and by these presents Do grant bargain, sell, alein, enfeeoff, release,, convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns, All that House and two lots of ground in the Borough of Harmony, Butler County and State of Pennsylvania, Bounded and described as follows, to wit: Beginning at the south West corner of the House. Thence along Mercer Street North sixty seven degrees East eleven and five tenth perches to a post, thence North Twenty three degrees West Four and two tenth perches and eight tenths to a post. Thence South twenty three degrees East seven and eight tenth perches to a post. Thence south sixty five degrees West four and six tenth perches to a post. Thence South twenty three degrees East one perch and two tenths to a post. Thence South sixty seven degrees West four and five tenth perches to a post. Thence South twenty three degrees East Four and eight tenth perches to the place of the beginning. It being part of a larger body of land which Geo Rapp and his associates by their attorney in fact. Frederick Rapp , lawfully constituted and appointed by Indenture bearing date the sixth of May A.D. 1815 recorded in Butler in Book C. pages 529 &c conveyed to Abraham Zeigler and the said Abraham Zeigler and Elizabeth his wife conveyed the above two described lots of ground to Samuel Beam by deed dated 29 Jany A.D. 1835 recorded in Butler in Book J. pages 432 & 453 and the said Samuel Beam being lawfully seized in his demise made his last will and testament in writing bearing the date the Thirtieth day of January A.D. one thousand Eight hundred and fifty one wherein and whereby amongst the things he did give and devise the said House and two lots to his daughters Sarah, Catharine, Polly, Cynthia, Esther and Nancy and their heirs , as in and by the said recited will since his decease duly proven and ***ining in the Registers office at Butler, records being had will appear, and John Reid and Sarah his wife by George Beam their attorney in fact. William Welsh and Catharine his wife , Robert Bolten and Polly his wife , John Graham and Cynthia his wife , John A. Dickey and Esther his Wife and Nancy Beam the said Legatees did by their deed of conveyance duly executed the twenty fourth day of March A.D. one thousand eight hundred and fifty two (1852) recorded in Butler County Deed Book T. pages 274 and 275 convey the same to Henry Wolf the Grantor hereof. Together with all and singular the buildings, improvements, ways, waters, water courses, rights, liberties, privileges, hereditaments, and appurtenances, whatsoever thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining and the reversions and remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof and all the estate, right, title, interest, property, claims and demand whatsoever of the said parties of the first part in law equity or otherwise howsoever of in and to the same and every part thereof. To have and to hold the said described Two Lots of ground with the hereditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned and intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns to and for the only proper use and beheof of the said party of the party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever. And Henry Wolf and Sarah Ann his wife the said parties of the first part for themselves and their heirs, executors and administrators. Doth by these presents, command grant and agree to and with the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns that they the said parties of the first part, for themselves and their heirs all and singular the hereditaments and premises herin above described and granted or mentioned, and intended so to be, with the appurtinances unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns against all and every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim this same or any part thereof. Shall and will warrant and forever defend, In Witness Whereof, The said parties of the first part have to these presents set their hands and seals. Dated the day and year first above written.

On the Twelfth day of March Anno Domini 1862 before me a Justice of the peace in and for the said County of Butler, came the above named Henry Wolf and Sarah Ann his wife , and acknowledged the above Indenture to be their act and deed, and desired that the same might be recored as such. She the said Sarah Ann Wolf being of full age and by me examined seperate and apart from her said husband, and the contents of the said Indenture being first made fully known to her declared that she did of her own free will and accord sign and seal, and as her act and deed deliver the same without any coercion or compulsion of her said husband. Witness my hand and seal of the day and the date aforesaid.
