Ifft, Peter Jr. - Estate Records 1895Last Will and Testament Peter Ifft, Jr. Late of Marion Twp., Registered 7th day of Mch, 1895. In the name of God, Amen: I Peter Ifft, of Marion Township in County of Beaver and State of Pennsylvania, being in good health of body and of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make and declare this to be my last Will and Testament in manner following. That is to say, I order that all my just debts, funeral expenses and charges of proving this my will, be in first place fully paid and satisfied and after payment thereof and every part thereof I give and bequeath unto my son Adam Ifft, Two hundred dollars, and the balance of my estate, personal real or **** or whatsoever it may consist, shall be equally divided share and share alike between my children, namely Adam Ifft, John Ifft, William Ifft, my daughter Sophia and daughter Anna. And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my son-in-law John Vogler, of Marion Township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, My executor of this my last will, hereby revoking and making void all former and other wills by me at any time heretofore made and declare this only to be my last will and Testament. In witness whereof I the said Peter Ifft have to this my last will and
Testament set in hand and seal, the 27th day of February, A.D., 1893. I Peter Ifft, of Marion Township County of Beaver and State of Pennsylvania,
do make this my codicils so far as this codicil is consistent therewith, and I
do hereby request and desire that my daughter Sophia and my son-in-law John
Vogler should act guardian and take proper care of my son Adam. I also desire
and request that my son-in-law John Vogler should act as agent for the heirs.
If oil is got on my property in New Sewickley Township Beaver County, Pa. In
collecting and dividing the money equally with my children. State of Pennsylvania Beaver County } ss Be it remembered. That on the
seventh day of March. A.D. 1895 John Herr and F. Wesley Yahn personally
appeared before me , the Register for the Probate of Wills etc., in and for
said county, they being the subscribing witnewwes to the foregoing last Will
and Testament and Codicil of Peter Ifft, late of Marion Township, deceased, and
after being duly sworn, according to law, did depose and say that they were
present and saw the said Peter Ifft sign the foregoing instrument of writing
and heard publish, pronounce and declare the same to be his last will and
testament and codicil and that st the time of his so doing the testator was of
sound and disposing mind memory and understanding to the best of deponents
knowledge observation and belief and that they signed the same as witnesses
thereto at the request of the said testator. Subscribed and sworn before me the day and year aforementioned, Orin H. Matthews Register And now, the testimony of the above named witnesses being sufficient, I to hereby admit the foregoing will to Probate, and order the same to be recorded as such. Orin H.
