Sawyers Smith tombstone, Bethel Hill Cemetery, Boone Co., Indiana. "Sawyers Smith/ Died/ __r. 14, 1859/ Aged/ 56 yrs 1 m ___." The stone is broken in several pieces and is propped against a tree near other Pauley family grave sites. The actual text comes from the largest unbroken piece, and is clearly legible.
