CREED C. POLSTON, 69, operator of Polston Bargain Store, 717 Kentucky St., died at 11:30 p.m. yesterday at City-County Hospital following a lengthy illness.  He was born in Monroe County, a son of the late Joseph and Mary Tade Polston, and was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Pleasant Hill Christian Church.  The body is at Kirby and Goodrum Funeral Chapel where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. tomorrow.  Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.  Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Carl Bishop and Mrs. Douglas Miller, and a brother. J. F. Polston, all of this city and four grandhcildren.
