1.  James Sparks; b. at England; m. Mary Harry, daughter of Evan Harry
and Hannah Johnson, 4 Jun 1751 at Philadelphia, PA; 1st wife; m. Sarah
Hosier 8 Jan 1766; 2nd wife; m. Ann Pearson 20 Nov 1772; 3rd wife;
prob. d. after 1790 at Kempsey, Worcestershire, England.
     He was a sea captain. He resided at England. He immigrated before
1751 to Philadelphia, PA.

     Mary Harry died before 1766 at Philadelphia, PA.
     Known children of James Sparks and Mary Harry were as follows:
                 i. John Sparks; bur. 20 May 1754.
                ii. James Sparks; bur. 20 Dec 1760.
     2.        iii. Dorothy Sparks, b. 1755; m. Ebenezer Large.
                iv. Margaret Sparks; b. 3 May 1759; baptized 26 May
                    1759; d. 23 Aug 1831 at age 72.

     Sarah Hosier was buried on 11 Oct 1770 at Christ Church Cemetery,
Philadelphia, PA.
     Known children of James Sparks and Sarah Hosier were:
                 i. Rachel Hosier Sparks; b. 3 Jul 1768; baptized 2
                    Oct 1768.

     Known children of James Sparks and Ann Pearson were as follows:
                 i. Mary Sparks; b. 29 Aug 1773; baptized 26 Sep 1773.
                ii. James Sparks; b. 4 Jan 1775.
               iii. John Sparks; b. 23 Jun 1777.


                      Generation Two

2.  Dorothy Sparks (James1); b. 1755; m. Ebenezer Large, son of
William Large and Sarah Allen, 7 Jun 1775 at Bucks Co., PA; d. 14 Sep
1832 at Philadelphia, PA.
     She left a will on 3 Nov 1827 at Philadelphia, PA; proved 6 Dec
1832.

     Ebenezer Large was born on 26 Mar 1750 at Bristol, Bucks Co., PA.
He was a merchant. He resided at Philadelphia, PA. He left a will on 5
Jul 1810 at Philadelphia Co., Pennsylvania; proved 28 Nov 1810. He
died on 11 Nov 1810 at Philadelphia, PA, at age 60.
