    Estate of Barnett Lybrand, Deed of sale of 229 acres in Lexington County, SC, to Frederick Gable, dated 1 October 1837, recorded 11 March 1840:

    Where as BARNET LYBRAND, late of Lexington District, died seized of a considerable Real Estate leaving a widow to whom by his L.W.&T. devised said Real Estate during her natural life, and the sd. Widow having recently departed this life leaving six daughters to wit, ELIZABETH intermarried with JOHN COOGLE, SALLY intermarried with DANIEL SMITH, MARY intermarried with FREDERICK GABLE, REBECCA LYBRAND, CATHARINE ADDY, widow, formerly CATHARINE LYBRAND, and CHRISTENA LYBRAND....heirs sell for $391, 229 A to FREDERICK GABLE adj. JOHN S. SWYGERT, JOHN DREHR, the heirs of VALENTINE GABLE, and others.
