John Lacy was a Missionary Baptist Clergyman and apparently moved around quite a lot. He was in Rabun county in 1843, in Carroll Co. in 1850 and in Macon Co. in 1860, but we've seen in the case of another preacher Lacy that he would live in fo
ur different counties between censuses. In 1860 at age 66 he had a daughter Caroline in Macon Co. Ga.



Last found in Montezuma 1860.

Can not find any records of John in Rabun county, have verified Carroll Co, and Macon Co, via census records. Macon county census lists occupation as "M. B. Clergyman" which I assume means Missionary Baptist. The only indication of Caroline i
s the 1860 census.
