9-16-95 Marion Lacey of Adairsville gave me (Allen) a package of deeds to the old home place (still standing and excellent condition) going back to the original Indian land grant up until the final purchase of the original 120 acres by W. D. La
cy in 1876.



Ruby Cleo Lacey Notes says he is in 1860 Census, and that he moved to

Cherokee Co from Gwinette Co.

He was married to Loucinda Elizabeth WHEELER about 1846. Loucinda Elizabeth WHEELER(1) was born on 5 Sep 1820 in S. C.. She died on 17 Dec 1866 in Cherokee Co. Buried: Mt Zion Cemetery. William Davis LACY and Loucinda Elizabeth WHEELER had the following children:
