Chief
Rapp died February 12, 1976 and was given a Fireman's Funeral, the largest
of its kind and the first in Mercer County, PA history. Five
pumper trucks from Brookfield, Farrell, Hermitage, Sharon, and South
Pymatuning preceded the Sharpsville 1972 Hahn Pumper truck carrying Chief
Rapp's casket.
