2 Georg Heinrich Daniel EGGERS. (Parents: 4--Johann Jochim EGGERS + 5--Johanna Rosina Elisabeth SCHILD(T)) Georg Heinrich Daniel was born on 4 January 1844 in Lübeck. He died sometime after 14 December 1907. He held a variety of jobs during his lifetime. At the time of his marriage, he was a shoemaker's assistant [Schuhmachergehülfe]. Later, he was identified (in order) as a shoemaker [Schuhmacher], a laborer [Arbeitsmann], a railway station worker [Bahnhofsarbeiter], and finally a machine maintainer/cleaner [Maschinenputzer]. Georg Heinrich Daniel first married Elisabeth Catharina Maria KOTH on 17 May 1869 at St. Jacobi Church (Lutheran), Lübeck. They had the following children:
He second married the widow Anna Dorothea Caroline SCHULT (nee FUNK) on 15 September 1896 in Domkirche [Lutheran] Lübeck. She was born on 3 May 1847 in Duvensee, Schleswig-Holstein. She and Georg Heinrich Daniel were second cousins (they shared FUNCK great-grandparents). They had no children; however, she had children from her previous marriage.
3 Elisabeth Catharina Maria KOTH. (Parents: 6--Joachim Friedrich Christian KOTH + 7--Catharina Elisabeth PÖLITZ/PÖHLS) Elisabeth Catharina Maria was born on 28 April 1850 in Lüdersdorf, Mecklenburg-Strelitz (Ratzeburg). She was baptized on 5 May 1850 at the Lutheran Church in Herrnburg, Mecklenburg-Strelitz (Ratzeburg). She died on 1 August 1893, probably in Lübeck. She was a Lutheran.
