Our ancestors came from Ireland, Germany, England, and Wales. Among them were mariners, artists, farmers, carpenters, politicians, teachers, photographers, a printer, machinists, laborers, and homemakers.

They served in Queen Victoria's Royal Navy, the American Revolutionary Army, the Civil War Union Army, World War I, and World War II.

Their religions included Presbyterian, Church of Ireland (Episcopalian), Methodist, Roman Catholic, and Quaker.
