Lydia and Elizabeth NUNES, above, were daughters of Emanuel/Manuel NUNES and Mary MARKS NUNES. Manuel was born 1810 Madeira and Mary Marks was born 1818 Madeira. Mary died 1908 and Manuel died October 15, 1889. Emanuel was buried in the Jacksonville East Cemetery.

Samuel FERNANDES, above, was the son of Manuel C. and Antonia R. (BAIA?) FERNANDES.

Samuel FERNANDES, b. Jan 2, 1862, Jacksonville, IL, and died Dec 31, 1927, at age 65 years. He was married November 24, 1881 to Lydia NUNES b. Oct 8, 1862 and died June 13, 1912, age 50 years.
