ROBERTS - Esther M. Kietzman, 75, of Roberts, died Sunday (June 15, 1997) at
Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Gibson City.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Lamb-Young Funeral Home, Roberts
and from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Wednesday services at St. Paul's Lutheran
Church in Roberts. The Rev. Grant Christenson will officiate. Burial will be
in Lyman Township Cemetery, Roberts.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, where she was a member;
Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Gibson City; to the Alzheimers Foundation; or to
the donor's choice.
She was born April 22, 1922, in Buckley, the daughter of George F. and Wilimina
Krumweide Tholen.
Her first husband, Vernon Eheart, whom she married Feb. 17, 1945, in Buckley,
died June 13, 1970.
Surviving are her husband, Richard Kietzman, whom she married July 5, 1975, at
Roberts: one son, Kurt Eheart of Champaign; one daughter, Sheila Barker of Gregory,
Mich.; four grandchildren; and one brother, Ed Tholen of Kankakee. Her parents,
one brother and one sister are deceased.
Mrs. Kietzman retired after 25 years as a school bus driver for Ford Central
Schools at Roberts and Thawville. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary,
Roberts and the VFW Auxiliary of Melvin. She belonged to the Dorcas Circle of
her church.

ROBERTS - Richard Kietzman, 88, of Roberts died at 5:02 p.m. Wednesday (March
19, 2003) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Roberts.
The Rev. Ronald Rasmus will officiate. Burial will be in Lyman Township Cemetery,
Roberts, with military rites accorded by Wagner Davis American Legion Post 641.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the church and from noon to 1 p.m.
Saturday at the church.
Lamb Funeral Home, 303 N. Church St., Gibson City, is in charge of arrangements.
