Will of Elisha Hoge

I do hereby make my last will and testament in manner and form as follows that is to say: First, I will order and direct that my funeral expenses and just debts be fully satisfied and paid. Second, I give devise and bequeath unto my wife, Lydia E. Hoge all my estate both personal and real while she remains my widow. And if she should at any time enter again into the married state, the estate to be disposed of and equally divided between her and my daughter Phebe W. Hoge. And if she should not marry, at her death my estate to all go to the above named daughter. Lastly, I constitute and appoint my wife, Lydia E. Hoge and Lewis Wood executors of this my last will and testament. In testimony whereof I have hereunto this my will place (?) my hand and seal this 27th of 9th Mo. in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty-seven.

Signed and Sealed by Elisha Hoge the above named testator as his last will and testament in the presence of us who at his request and in his presence have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.
