SARAH LEET

     Sara Leet, a resident of Bingen for 50 years, passed away at Jallo’s Nursing Home in Portland, Oregon on April 9.  She was born on August 23, 1880 at Tynset-Tronheim, Norway, Osterdalen Province.
     She was married to Richard Leet and was a homemaker all her life.
     Survivors include: two sisters and a number of nieces and nephews.
     Services were held at Gardner's Funeral Home on Saturday, April 12, and a private ceremony was held at Idlewild Cemetery at Hood River.  Officiating was Rev. Ted H. Culbertson of the Assembly of God Church in Bingen.
