FUNERAL FOR MARY LEET TOMORROW
Funeral service for Mary Leet will be held tomorrow,
Friday, November 9 at 11 a.m. in Gardner’s Chapel, White Salmon. Burial will be
in the White Salmon Odd Fellow Cemetery. The VFW Auxiliary, of which Mrs. Leet
was a member for 28 years, will assist with the service conducted by Rev. Alfred
Palmer.
Mrs. Leet was born March 27, 1898 in Clearbrook, Minn.
and died at her home in Bingen Monday, Nov. 5 after being ill for several
months. Her husband George Leet preceded her in death in June 1945.
He is survived by two sons, Kenneth and George, both of
Bingen and one grandchild, Tony Alan Leet, Bingen; two sisters, Sarah and Selma.

MARY LEET DIES AT FAMILY HOME; RITES ON FRIDAY
Mrs. Mary Leet, a resident of Bingen for many years
passed away at the family home in Bingen on November 5. Mary Leet was born on
March 27, 1898 at Clearbrook, Minnesota. Her husband George died in June of
1945.
Two sons, Kenneth and George R., both of Bingen survive
their mother. Also a grandson, Tony Alan Leet, also of Bingen.
Several sisters also survive. Funeral services will be
held on Friday, November 9 at 11 o'clock at Gardner’s Chapel with the Rev.
Alfred Palmer officiating.
The VFW auxiliary of Bingen will participate in the
service. Mrs. Leet had been an active VFW auxiliary member for 28 years. For
several years she had been a cook for the White House in Bingen.
Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery in White Salmon.
