CHESTER D. LATIMER
Chester D. Latimer of Carson died June 10 at Skyline
Hospital. He was 94.
Mr. Latimer was born July 22, 1898 in Gale, Ore. to the
Rosetta and George E. Latimer. He moved to Carson 20 years ago after stays
in Klickitat, Trout Lake and Appleton. He worked many years at the sawmill
in Klickitat and farmed in Trout Lake. He was a member of the Carson Church
of the Nazarene Local 2805 in Klickitat. He loved to garden and spend time
with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Myrnie of Carson; his son,
Westley Latimer of Spokane; daughter, Betty Manard of Tumwater; step-children,
Bill Bush of White Salmon, Catherine Zeyely of Goldendale; Florence Wilson
of Vancouver, and Belva Gattis of Vancouver; 19 grandchildren, numerous great
grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Carson Church of the Nazarene
Wednesday at 1 p.m., committal followed at Wind River Cemetery.
Contributions may be given to Carson Church of the Nazarene
or charity of your choice.
