A frequently asked question about Wissinoming history concerns Cox's Estate, bounded by Comly, Benner, Edmund, and Tulip Sts.  There was a main house, a caretaker's house, a garden, and a barn.  This home was destroyed by fire in the early 1960s and later demolished.
