St. Philip's Parish was in old Berkeley County and was established 1706. Charles Town and Charles Town Neck.
Christ Church Parish was in old Berkeley County and was established in 1706. Parish consisted of area Southeast of the Wando River along the coast east of Charles Town.
St. Thomas' Parish was in old Berkeley County and was established in 1706. St. Thomas Parish was above Christ Church Parish on the north east side of the Wando River.
St. Dennis' Parish was established in 1706 and was created for the French settlement. St. Dennis Parish adjoined and merged with St. Thomas Parish to form St. Thomas and St. Dennis Parish.
St. John's Parish was in old Berkeley County and was established in 1706. It was the Western Branch of the Cooper River.
St. James, Goose Creek was in Old Berkeley County and was established in 1706. The area was Goose Creek.
St. Andrews' Parish was in old Berkeley County and was established in 1706. The area was on the Ashley River.
St. Paul's Parish was in Colleton County and was established in 1706. It is on the south side of the Stono River and extended to the north side of the South Edisto River. It is now Charleston County.
St. Bartholomew's Parish was in Colleton County and was established in 1706.
St. James, Santee, the French settlement on the Santee River. Established in 1706.
St. George's Parish, Dorchester, was in old Berkeley County and was established in 1717. It is the upper part of St. Andrews Parish on the Ashley River.
St. Johns Parish, Colleton County, was established in 1734. It was formed from St. Paul's Parish and includes John's Island, Wadmalaw Island, Edisto Island and the other adjacent islands. It is now part of Charleston County.
St. Michael's Parish, Charles Town was established in 1751. It was taken from St. Philip's Parish.
St. Stephen's Parish was established in 1754. It was formed from St. James' Parish, Santee. It includes the inland or upper section.
