Hanover Plantation: Home of Paul de St Julien, who erected the house in 1716. Henry Ravenel (1729-1785) married Mary de St. Julien in 1750, and moved therein in 1751. For nearly two hundred years it has been occupied by the St. Juliens and Ravenels, and was one of their burial grounds.
The first two entries have more information than the others.
Mrs. Charlotte Porcher, wife of Thomas Porcher and daughter of William & Mary Mazyck. She departed this life on the 8th of Mar 1804. In the thirty third year of her age.
Catherine Ravenel, wife of Stephen Ravenel and daughter of William and Mary Mazyck. She departed this life the 8th of Feb., 1803, age 33 years and 6 months.
