Where's The Fire?
A lady whose favorite hobby is going to fires - that's Princess,
proud new mascot of the Sharpsville Fire Department. She posed
here on the fire truck with Chief Harry Rapp to show just how she rides
to all the fires. The eight-month-old Dalmatian was well trained
in a fire house when her former owner was a Cleveland fireman. When he
gave her to the Sharpsville Volunteers, they promptly bought her a
supply of food, fixed up a sleeping place and have made her the pet of
the municipal building. At the sound of the fire siren she bounds
up on the truck, all set to go.
