Albert, Ann
Welcome to Our Ancestry
Researching BILLE from Denmark, HARJULA and MAKELA from Finland, and WALQUIST from Sweden.
These pages are dedicated to Uncle George who began the search into our families ancestry. The torch has been passed and now it is my turn to research and record our rich heritage. It's important that we all understand what our family overcame when they left their homeland to build a new life here in the United States.

Andersen, Niels
Show the Andersens
"Show The Andersens" is made for hobby by some members of our family. Niels is the webmaster (he is starting to produce homepages for other people - ask for his references if you are interested). The purpose of our page is to stimulate and test our knowledge of this subject. We too want to find and make contact to other people with the same interests for exchanging information and inspiration.

Andrejak, Carol
The Svendsen Family Tree
Researching the ancestors of my grandfather, Peder Johannes SVENDSEN, born in Sejehuset, Slaglille, Alsted, Sor, Denmark.
His parents were Jacob Conrad SVENDSEN born in Frslev, Vester Flakkenbjrg, Sor, and Karen Marie HANSEN born in Slaglille. Jacob and Karen bore 13 children in Sejehuset, three of which immigrated to Racine, Wisconsin. The rest stayed in Denmark and I am also still searching for the great-grandchildren of this couple. Here are all of Jacob and Karen's children:

If anyone has any connections to any of these people, please contact me.
Finally, I have Karen's family back to the early 1800's but I am having trouble with Jacob. He was born in 1849 to Sofie Charlotte HUSUM out of wedlock in Frslev. Nine years later, she married his father, Jacob Peter SVENDSEN of Slagelse in Holbk, Holmstrup. However, so far I have not been able to find any birth records for Jacob Peter.

Brenner, Elise and Don
Researching ancestors from Norway, Randers county Denmark, Ireland, and England. NIELSEN, JENSEN, ANDERSEN, BAKKANE, and FLYNN.

Finderup, Jens
A Danish homepage containing more names and places than can be easily listed here. Best to just take a look. A word of note: Please do not send e-mail to the address on the page as Jens Finderup passed away in the spring of 2001. However, his work lives on in the pages of his website.

My father, Thomas Reese Parry, was an American born Welshman. My mother, Violet Michie, was also born in America, as were both her parents. Her father was Scottish and English. Her mother was English and Danish. My paternal grandparents and maternal great grandparents all immigrated to America between 1840 and 1890, eventually settling in Utah. Here is the Johannesen-Paulsen family whose home was in Brejning Parish, Ringkbing Amt. They immigrated to Menominee County, Michigan in 1892. The Johannesen and Paulsen line includes Jensen, Holm, Orloff, and the usual assortment of Nielsen, Pedersen, Andersen, Chrisensen, ect. None wandered out of Ringkbing County until the middle 1800s.
