Services for Mabel Stice Riley, 77, of 904 N. Seventh St, who died Sunday at the University Hospital, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at Wilkes Boulevard and Methodist Church by the Reb. John Hays. Mrs. Riley was born in Sturgeon April 28, 1903, to Beauregard and Anna A Casey Stice. Mrs. Riley married John V Riley in 1922. He died in 1947. A retired dietitian, Mrs. Riley worked for the University. She also had been an employee of the Boone County Hospital. Mrs. Riley is survived by a sister Helen McBride of Flint, Mich., a son Myron E. Riley of Gladstone, Mo.; two daughters, Orine Hall of Lewiston, Ill., and Patricia Thomas of Columbia, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Visitation well be from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be at Memo rail Park Cemetery.
