CLEMON LINDSEY was born in Edmonson County, May 12, 1882
and departed this life Jan. 17, 1965. Mr. Lindsey died at a Louisville
Hospital after several weeks of critical illness. He was the son of the
late Murlin and Catherine Lindsey and was a native of the Grassland
community but for the last several years he had been a resident of
Louisville.
He was married to Miss Lula Skaggs, daughter of the late J. W. and
Betty Skaggs, natives of the Pleasant Union Community, April 9, 1905.
Bro. Lindsey became a christian early in life and lived a devoted use-
ful life. He moved his membership to Pleasant Union, Edmonson Co.,
in 1953 and remained a faithful member until death.
Surviving Bro. Lindsey are his widow, Louisville; 2 sons, Bonnie and
Dewey both of Louisville and 1 daughter, Mrs. Anna Knight also of
Louisville; 4 grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends who
