Wanda was born to Carroll Jackson & Iva Jewell Gibson Hodges on January 1, 1936 in McAllister, Oklahoma. Wanda went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at her home in Hanford, California after a brave battle against cancer. Wanda was a Homemaker for 48 years until her husband Robert Lee Stice passed away. Wanda has been a resident of Hanford for the past 10 years. Wanda had also been a longtime resident of Modesto, California before moving to Hanford. Wanda was raised with her two siblings; Paul & Millie Hodges who she was very close to. Wanda and Millie were especially close throughout life. Wanda was an avid reader, and loved gardening in her spare time, but most of all she loved being around her family and caring for them. Wanda was good friends with Beverly VanLier, since 1962 when they first became neighbors. Wanda and Bob married on April 14, 1951 at the Stice Family home in Monterey. Wanda and Bob made their home in Monterey, then moved to Modesto, where they raised their two children; Stephen & Marsha Stice. Wanda was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church in Oakdale, California for 35 years, once moving to Hanford she joined and faithfully attended Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church.
Wanda is preceded in death by her parents; Carroll & Iva Hodges and her beloved husband; Robert Lee Stice and brother; Paul Hodges. Wanda is survived by her loving children; Stephen "Steve" Stice and wife Diane of Eugene, Oregon and Marsha Renard and husband Jim of Hanford. Wanda will be truly missed by her four precious grandchildren; Crystal Causey, Rachelle Stice, Savannah Cortez and husband Matt and Gabriel Steiner. Wanda's sister, Millie Haddock, aunt, Edna Daniels and dear friend, Beverly VanLier, also survives her.
A Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 12, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 4:00 p.m. at People's Funeral Chapel; 501 N. Douty Street, Hanford, CA 93230 559-584-5591. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, August 13, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at San Joaquin National Cemetery; 32053 W. McCabe Road, Santa Nella, CA 95322.

Bonnie was born Sept. 23, 1936, in Salem, Ore. to Richard and Thelma Stice. Bonnie spent her childhood in Salem, enjoying the company of her three brothers and one sister. After high school, she attended Conquerors Bible college in Portland, Ore. While attending Conquerors, she met Raynold A. Eld, and later they married. the wedding date was Aug. 26, 1955. Together they raised five children, fours sons and a daughter. During their married life, Ray and bonnie lived in Salem, Ore., Caldwell, mcCall and Boise, Idaho.
She enjoyed painting since her early teenage years. She was an avid musician, playing the keyboard and accordion. memories of Bonnie will include her singing hymns during daily chores.
Bonnie was an accomplished Cosmetologist and owned her own business for many years.
Bonnie's greatest love was her relationship with Jesus and His loving presence in her life. Bonnie also loved to play and pray with her children and grandchildren as they grew up. They gave Bonnie joy and strength. She gave a lot of herself to those who needed it. She enjoyed taking mountain hikes, picnicking, picking wild flowers and all outdoor activities.
After her divorce from Ray in 1992, bonnie later married Johnny Grizzell on Dec. 18, 1993. In thier short time together, they enjoyed camping and fishing. They also started their own business, painting homes.
Survivors include her husband, Johnny Grizzell; her mother Thelma Stice; sister Beth McMaster, brothers Barney, Wilbur and Lowell Stice; children, Tim, Mike, Kevin, heidi and Rob Eld; eight grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.Bonnie married Raynold A. She enjoyed gardening, watching birds, and sewing as her hobbies. She is survived by her mother, Thelma Stice; daughter, Susan Crum; sons, Randy Karr and his wife, Connie and Terry Karr; brothers, Wilbur Stice (Pat) and Lowell Stice (Marge). Her greatest enjoyment in life were her grandkids, Brandi Crum, Christopher Crum, Tanesha Karr, and Brian Karr. She is preceded in death by her father, Richard Stice; brother, Barney Stice; sister, Bonnie; and infant son, Tommy Karr. Mom, we love you and will miss you so much.
