Memorial Park cemetery.
    The son of Alec and Sarah Sling he was born Nov. 18, 1872 in Missouri.
He was first married to Sarah Setter. His second marriage was to Lieuzetta
Crone on Dec. 25, 1939 at Muscatine. He was a member of the IOOF Lodge at
Kirksville, MO.
    Survivors include his second wife; two stepsons, Hugh W. and Otho E.
Bennett, both of Muscatine and four step-grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by his first wife, one son, one daughter,
three brothers and three sisters.
