Mail List and Query

Listed below are a series of electronic mail list for various surnames. The LISTSERVER is provided by RootsWeb. If you subscribe to a mail list, you can expect between 5-20 e-mails a day per list. Here's how it works: when you (or anyone) sends a message to the list, the server forwards it to everyone on the list. These listservers are a valuable tool in Genealogy research, you can reach a large group of people doing research on a single surname.

To subscribe:

Click on the surname
In the subject of your e-mail place the surname
In the body of your e-mail place the words subscribe your name (replace your name, not your email address.

To Unsubscribe:

Click on the surname
In the body of your e-mail place the words unsubscribe.

substitute your name for Your Name, not your e-mail address!
