The Haile Family

		Shown are the parents and grandparents of my wife Janet Haile Martin. Kendall Logan was dating Louise Haile and introduced his sister (Dorothy) to Louise's brother (Arthur). Kendall and Louise were married as well as Arthur and Dorothy, forming a strong Haile/Logan union. Janet's grandfather, Samuel Eugene Haile died prior to WWII. Arthur and Dorothy raised 6 children. Kendall and Louise raised 2 children.

Samuel Arthur Haile

Samuel Arthur Haile was born in Pangburn Arkansas on March 8, 1925 to Samuel Eugene Haile and Gertrude Houston Haile. He served in WWII with the US Army Air Corp in the Pacific. He married Dorothy Minnie Logan on January 18, 1946 at Heber Springs, AR. He was a respected automobile mechanic and service station owner until his death in Little Rock, AR on October 8, 1973. The Sammy and Ann Albright Haile Family

Samuel Arthur Haile Jr is the eldest son of Arthur and Dorothy. Sammy as he is known to family and friends, is the owner of Haile Exxon in Heber Springs. He and my father-in-law were partners until Arthur's death in 1973. Sammy and I served in units stationed close together in Vietnam. On a couple of occasions our units flew missions together and were able to visit each other. He was a helicopter crew chief with the 25th Infantry Division and I was a helicopter pilot with the 187th AHC. He married Ann Albright after Vietnam and now has two beautiful daughters, Jennifer and Pamela. Photo circa 1986

The Gaylon and Patricia Haile Taylor Family

Patricia Ann Haile Taylor is the third child of Arthur and Dorothy. She married Gaylon Taylor after high school and they now live in Marion, AR. They have three boys, Christopher Lynn, Marcus Haile, and Nicholas Paul. Chris has the infamy of being the tallest person in the clan at over 6'6" and has spent much of his time back to back with his cousins comparing size. Photo circa 1986
