DEAT Victorian Deaths Register for 1913, Number 6324. CHR Elizabeth was christened on 8 October 1826 at ST SAVIOURS, SOUTHWARK, LONDON, U.K. (I.G.I.) IMMI Elizabeth and her two children (Elizabeth and Antoine) immigrated to Australia aboard "The Calliance". They came as assisted immigrants. The ship left England on ? and arrived in Melbourne on 31 December 1855. She was listed as a widow from Middlesex, aged 28, and her occupation was domestic servant. The original listing had her immigrting with her husband. She did not have an assigned position when she left the ship but was her own account. She was given 52 pounds on 5 January. OCCU MINER NOTE A Claus Viebrock die on 6 Jun 1911 at Kangaroo Flats and was buried there on 9 Jun 1911 - do not know what relation he was) DEAT Victorian Deaths Register for 1870, Number 1637 (Copy on file). His death was the result of a Mining accident. An inquest was held on 17 January 1870 at Maryborough. Claus' death was registered by his step-daughter, PAULINE ELIZABETH BRABBET. Copy of newspaper report of inquest and Inquest papers on file. IMMI Claus landed in Australia in November 185. Ship was "THE ANGLESEY". The ship left the U.K. on 11 Aug 1857. The fare was 15 pounds.
