Let us not forget Lance Corporal Richard Otis Fisher, casuality of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Marine Corps, LCPL Fisher served our country until September 10th, 1967 in Quang Tri, South Vietnam. He was 19 years old and was not married. Richard died from small arms fire. His body was recovered. Richard was born on February 14th, 1948 in Lodi, Ohio.

LCPL Fisher is on panel 26E, line 044 of the Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for one year.

This site showed LCPL Richard Otis Fisher, of Lodi, Ohio (1849-1967); should this be 1948-1967. I went to school in Iowa with Richard before his family moved to Lodi, Ohio. We were writing each other when he was killed in Vietnam.
